1954 Lincoln Capri Convertible, This Capri was Born in Empire Green code 14 paint. With a white convertible top which is in very good condition. Features include a heater/defroster, clock, AM radio and Power Seat & Power Windows. Conservative yet elegant styling coupled with Ford study mechanicals--and Lincoln's quality build standards and higher quality materials. Lincoln Capris competed in the harsh Carrera Panamericana road races that were held in Mexico back in the 1950s, and they were very successful--one finished first in class in 1954. Yellow lense Driver side spotlight. Correct 205hp 317-cubic-inch V-8 and automatic transmission. Interior - Cloth/leather bench seat combination. A perforated metal dash that was unique to these cars, In very good condition. Exterior – The Capri has a very streamlined smooth look. Bullet shaped tail lights include a ribbed with gaps tail light lens bezel on top and a back up light on the bottom. Very prominent front bumper two piece smaller lower and larger on top with a good air gap in the middle where the indicator lights are installed. Both ends of the bumpers wrap around the fenders. For vertical spaced pieces give the grill the “mouth like appearance” that was common in this era. The headlights are embedded in the front of the fender with a ridge of body metal/recessed and have an elegant bezel with rectangular ribbed small rectangles. Chrome hood ornament and the large V Lincoln emblem at the nose of the hood. Light green-painted steel wheels with fancy Lincoln hubcaps an extra wide white wall tires. This vehicle is either classic, antique, exotic, super rare, or all of the above. This vehicle is on consignment from a very large collection of vehicles. They are being sold as museum quality cars which means they may not run or drive and may not have run or driven in numerous years. The vehicles are of a condition where they would be on display in a museum. As museum pieces we were required to disconnect or remove batteries and drain fuel tanks. Once again, these vehicles have not been driven, or even started in quite some time.
