1967 Lincoln Continental Additional Info:

1967 Lincoln project car, with original build sheet, but no title. Even though I had to say it has a title in order to list it that doesn't mean it has a title. The car willbe sold with a bill of sale. This Lincoln came my way a couple years ago from a friend and I couldn't resist getting it. Turns out I haven't had time for it so I thought I would offer it out to someone who would get her back on the road. Mechanically the car shows great promise as the engine starts and runs and transmission engages to spin the wheels while the car is on jack stands. However, I have never taken the car for a drive because the water pump leaks and I wouldn't expect the brakes to do much stopping either as the car has been off the road and inactive for many years. The body of the car is very straight and all the panels fit nicely, chrome is straight and bright- very good driver quality. I find the paint to be pretty decent shape worthy of driver quality. When I say this I admit that the paint has lots of defects but it would buff up to OK standards at least for the time being. If the car was buffed it would look great from a distance say 10 or 20 feet depends on how good your vision is. There is rust in the front floor boards but not terrible. The underside looks very solid. Some scattered rust is evident on the body. Over all very straight and very solid. Carpet is bad and the interior seats are a combination of good and bad. I think a creative person could save the seats after some material replacement . I have the spare tire cover and air filter and it will be going with the car. It some of the pics you will see a side pipe exhaust pipe on the left side of the car which is not attached to the car in a functional way. It is not on the car now. This sale is being done with a bill of sale only.
