The prestigious V-12 Lincoln Continental began with a vacation car built for Edsel Ford to be used at his vacation home in Hobe Sound, Florida. The custom Zephyr Convertible soon became a hit; which soon was in production to be built 1939-1948. Lincoln for 1941 had a simple clean luxurious and elegant style with a European flair named the Continental. It was in the luxury lineup with Cadillac and the Chrysler Imperial. The 1941 Lincoln used the Zephyr's new styling... with only superficial changes from the 1940 Model. Interior and exterior door handles were now the push button style with the Lincoln V-12 logo on the hood and hub caps. This Lincoln is a special car to the Museum as the past owner was affiliated, Ken Hutchinson was truly a wonderful person, and lover of cars and automotive toys - Author of several books on toys. This was the car of choice as Ken loved the Euro Deco style of 1941. Being the perfectionist he exuded the beauty of the Continental Coupe. This car was professionally restored body up est. 20 years ago; Body clad in Maroon with correct tan cord leather interior.
