1979 Lincoln Mark Series Collector Series Additional Info:
I am posting this for a friend. This is a very nice driver quality vehicle it has been repainted back in the early 90s. With a little work this could be a very nice your car everything works as it should it is owned by a mechanic for the last 27 years. It does have one new tire on it and if you pay the full price we will be glad to put three more new tires that match on it. They are just dry rotted they have plenty of tread just too much sitting. Please ask questions to see pictures and the title is in hand this car is offered for sale locally also. 1-618-59three zero zero 60
EXTERIOR: Beautiful midnight blue metallic with padded Landau top and matching padded trunk hump. The turbine wheels are color matched to the car, body side moldings are color matched. Grill has gold accents. Very original and in very nice shape. Has some rock chips in front, 1 door ding. No rust. The chrome, glass and rubber are excellent. Original Michelin tires.
INTERIOR: It is so luxurious. The soft cloth pillow top seats were considered an upgrade over leather. Rare bucket seats have full power. In the middle is a deluxe console with locking compartment, The front portion opens up to a CB radio. Glove soft leather trim is used throughout including the entire dash pad, seat moldings, armrests and entire console. Overhead is a power sunroof with sunshade. The carpet is thick and plush. The visors have lighted vanity mirrors and I just discovered something really cool. Drivers visor has a garage door button Of course the car is also full of all the power accessories, climate control, cruise, tilt, lumbar etc. Has premium Quadraphonic stereo with power antenna. Everything appears to be working including the Cartier clock. Wood appliques are used on doors, dash and seat backs. Also has map pockets on the backs of the seats. This car is owned by a non smoker.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has original 400 motor. It is just as it left the factory. Tags, stickers, ink stamps are still in place. Never monkeyed with, spray painted etc.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is fully lined in the same plush carpet that's in the interior. Even the bottom of the trunk lid, tire cover and even the jack is carpeted. The original spare tire has never been out of the trunk. Has original jack. The original leather wrapped tool kit unique to the Collector Series is strapped in place. It is 100% complete including a letter and contents card. Has everything from flares to bulbs, fuses and tools. The screwdriver even says Collector Series on the handle. It is like new in the trunk. The latches are still shiny, has factory ink stamp, weatherstrip still like new.
UNDERSIDE: Very original. Not messed with, not spray painted over. Absolutely no rot, yes it has surface haze of rust on some suspension, bolts, brackets etc. The floors are pristine. It still has some assembly line paint markings and tags. Original exhaust with Ford muffler. Has C-6 automatic trans and disc brakes at all four wheels.
This was the Flagship of the eloquent Lincoln line up. The Mark V is very desirable because of it's style and size. Last year for "full" size. This one right here is the ultimate. I'm going to go take a nap in the front seat now.
