1972 Lincoln Continental Additional Info:
1972 Lincoln Continental in stunning all original condition, 23,000 original miles, survivor, took me nearly 10 years to procure when I first began my hunt many years ago. I located this car from a collector in New York. It has remained in my collection under cover and in a climate controlled garage. It has been lovingly maintained and driven very sparingly. My mechanic performs any routine maintenance on the premises. It represents the iconic, quintessential classic Lincoln Continental of the era. It is a rare example of a bygone era and finding one in this original condition in Black was like finding a needle in a haystack.
It has gorgeous original black glossy paint and a gorgeous black vinyl roof. This car is completely unmolested and no evidence of any accidents, paint work, damage or modifications of any kind. Again, I underscore, extremely difficult to find one with NO RUST. Has been lovingly cared for during its life as I’ve tried to demonstrate in the pictures as both the interior and exterior are in exceptional original condition. I just don’t know of any other examples with low mileage and original BLACK preserved that exist. This car more than any in my collection has garnered more attention from young and old alike. It’s prescense evokes so much emotion and it just drops jaws when folks see it.

EVERYTHING on the car is in good working order and fully operational. All lights, buttons, dials, windows, gauges and controls. The interior I would rate 10/10 it has a fresh smell, like a fine older automobile and shows no wear to seats or carpets, headliner or door surfaces or dash surfaces, anywhere. The exterior I would rate a 9.5/10, aside from some minor swirls of years of wiping with a soft cloth that can be seen in certain lighting, the paint shines brilliant and glossy with no fade or peeling at all anywhere. The under carriage and wheel wells are free from rust. The automobile is 100% rust free. Tires and hubs are in excellent contion as is all chrome and fittings and rubber still pliable and not cracked. Chrome excellent condition. The rubber seals free from cracking. The dash is absolutely pristine as is the rear packing deck which indicates it’s life has been in doors and not baking in the sun.
I’ve tried to capture how well this automobile is preserved through the pictures and happy to answer any questions and provide additional pictures upon request.
If you have zero feed back please contact me first before bidding. Inspections are welcome and encouraged during auction. It will not disappoint! I have 100% feedback and have sold 5 of my collector cars through eBay over the last several years. Each buyer very happy. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Don’t let this example get by - you may not find another all original, very low mileage, rust free, fully operational, preserved Black Lincoln Continental sedan from the early 70s.
