Let me tell you why I bought this many years ago. This car was purchased new and owned by the original owner until 2001 when he pasted away. He only drove it on specialoccasionsandbabiedthe car. Upon hisdemisehis favorite grandson inherited the car however he was only 16. So he parked the car in the driveway under a car cover until Iacquiredit around 2013. The back seat still has the factory plastic on the seat belts! Why do I believe that the miles are correct besides being told? Having owned over a dozen Lincolns of this era the wear on the ends of the horn wood on the steering wheel tells the miles. More miles and the ends are worn away. Why am I selling it? I have about a dozen collector cars including 3 otherLincolns plus my daily drivers. Since I can't drive them all I'm selling this and a 65 T-bird convertible and 55 Chevy. I'm running out of garage space. Time to let someone else enjoy this car as it runs and drives as tight as new. Pin stripes are the factory hand painted gold to match to factory gold grill.
