1972 Lincoln Continental Additional Info:
Rare car- less than 11k produced in 1972. Clean title and registered until May 2019- no CA smog needed.
Completely factory original. Black on black- runs and drives- reliable Ford 460 V-8- hide-away headlights, all badges, trim, hubcaps intact (hood ornament is currently off the vehicle and needs to be welded before reattaching)
Recent work done (within last 16 months):
-professionally rebuilt carb
-dropped/cleaned gas tank
-4 new tires
-new front rotors and pads
-new radiator
-new heater core and hoses
-replaced points with Pertornix Ignitor electronic ignition
-new plugs/wires
-new starter coil
-new battery/cables
-new drivers side window motor
-new drivers side window switches
-new vinyl exterior top
The paint is original and is starting to thin in places. Minor indentations in 2 places but overall very straight body. Headliner/carpet need replacing. Seats need new upholstery. Small hole in exhaust pipe. Trunk pan in good shape- floor pan on rear passenger side needs replacing. Drivers side window is currently only operational window(new window motor). Drivers side arm rest is currently off the car to access window motor and install new master switches.
