1966 Lincoln Continental Suicide Doors Additional Info:

This is a 1966 Continental Convertible with suicide doors, it was bought in California 10 years ago and driven on a sight seeing trip for the family that lives in Georgia and that's where it was parked and never driven again, I bought the car to make a Rat Rod, this car is so solid and in such good shape it should be restored to it's former glory....
The GOOD: I put a battery in it fresh gas and it started right up sounds great no smoke or knocks, it goes right in to gear and drives wonderfully. the interior was soft and subtle no rips or tears. I pulled up the carpets and had it up on a lift and the car appears to be complete and rust free, only a little surface rust, floors and trunk are solid. I have many pictures and a video to shown the good and bad, The pictures shown are of the car as it sits, I have more pictures of the interior, convertible frame under carriage and a video of the under carriage as well that I will be happy to email to bidders.
The BAD: There is not a lot of bad and some could be considered good like the top is missing but the frame work, pump and all the parts appear to be there and should be able to made to workagain, the power seats move thebuttonson the dash for the heat and air are frozen, the windows do not work and some of the trim is in crumbling condition- I did mention the car is a restoration project. The trunk does open manually and it is very heavy (they Built this 50 year old car solid). When I was checking out the floor boards I removed the seats and put a slight tear in the rear seat.
I am selling this car No Reserve with a buy it now for what I feel the car is really worth, it will sell either way, and it will sell to someone who knows and loves this year make and model it is a classic and very desirable car of which only 3180 ever built. Please bid with confidence and only if you intend on buying the car. The car will be sold with Bill Of Sale Only as the Title was from California and lost, The State of Georgia Does not require a bill of sale on a 50 year old vehicle.
