1976 Lincoln Continental Mark IV Additional Info:
1976 Cartier with rare velour option that cost $2000 in 1976 versus $1500 for leather. Car was completely stripped of all trim and and all panels - doors, fenders, hood, decklid - were removed and stripped to bare metal, as was the body, before professional repaint. Car has new correct Valino grain vinyl roof from SMS. All aluminum was professionally buffed. Excellent mechanical shape as you would expect from a 40K car. Original hoses and hose clamps still in place. Newer dual aluminized exhaust with few miles and tires too. Climate control works fine with cold A/C, cruise, headlight doors, automatic headlamp dimmer, twilight sentinel, door locks, windows all work as well. Factory carb was rebuilt and re-plated.
Please have the car inspected before you purchase and feel free to ask any questions It is not perfect, nor showroom condition and the price reflects that. That said, I obviously have invested a lot of time and money to make a very nice car which receives a lot of compliments including from local Lincoln club members. Selling because I am just not driving it/showing it much anymore.
