1984 Lincoln G80 Additional Info:

1984 Lincoln Mark VII 2.4L Turbo Diesel. Our family has owned this Mark VII since December 1993, when we purchased it from the original owner. It was purchased new in Richfield, Utah, so it is a 49 State car. The odometer has been changed, so I am not sure of the current mileage, not to mention the digital gauges are not currently working. I did list the Mark VII a couple of months ago on Ebay when it was not running, since then, I have spent a little money on the engine and got it running once again. It sounds great. I repaired the fuel pick up in the fuel tank, cleaned and pressure tested the fuel tank. I replaced all the rubber fuel lines, installed a new fuel filter, installed a new electric fuel pump, replaced the vacuum lines on the 6 injectors and the injection pump. I installed a new ignition switch. I removed the starter and had it rebuilt. I have installed a new Delco battery. I replaced the air filter with an OEM unit. We were told by the original owner, he replaced the head just before we made the purchase. After the purchase we had a new air compressor for the suspension and two air bags installed by Galpin Lincoln Mercury, here in Southern California, so it no longer sits on the ground. The paint has thinned on top, so the hood, roof and trunk have surface rust. There is no rust out in the body and that car has not been in any major accident that we know of.
