Great example of a 1961 Lincoln Continental in its original condition . the Paint is original with a few minor chips and scraped as to be expected for its age . the paint shines well as you can see in the pictures . all of the chrome and Stainless are also in great condition . from the condition of vehicle I would have to say it was garaged for most of its life . I know is was since I have owned it .car sits on 4 brand new BF Goodrich steel belted Radial, rims were removed sand blasted and painted . also has all 4 correct year hub caps .the interior is also in good shap, the stainless trim on interior is in Excellent condition . I have gone through this car to make it Mechanically sound and dependable so it can be driven anywhere with confidence . the following Items were replaced on car whether they needed it or not . all 4 shock, front brake pad, front wheel seals . all 4 upper and lower ball joint, upper and lower control arm bushing, sway bar bushing, replaced both motor mounts .. also any part that I took off car such as the control arms were cleaned sanded and painted as seen in pictures . the front end of this car is like new . as far as the engine goes this car runs perfect as it should with 54000 miles on the clock . I also replaced the following parts under the hood . all heater core hose, both radiator hoses . all vacuum line, replaced valve cover gasket, removed carburetor cleaned and rebuil, new fuel filte, new OEM fuel fump . new fuel pump push rod . also because of age I replaced the Timing chain and both gear, while in that area the power steering pump was removed and resealed . once again anything that was remove, was painted . all lights and windows work . the stock am radio is there but it dosent work .
