Thank you for viewing the auction for my 1972 Lincoln Mark 1V.
This Mark 1V runs and drives strong. Very powerful and fast 460. Brand new Edlebrock carb. C-6 automatic shifts tight and smooth. It rolls down the road true. Brakes stop good and straight. Pedal goes down when sitting but brakes pump right up and stay up. Most likely needs master cylinder and bleed but can be driven now. Suspension and steering are good.
The lowrider wheels and tires where on the car when I got it thru a multi-vehicle trade. Not really my thing That being said the wheels are nice and tires are brand new. There is a set of 17" wheels and tires that are alsoincluded (see photos).
There is very little rust anywhere on this Mark 1V. The frame and floors have none. The trunk doesn't have any either (just a little surface rust). Shock towers are great. Engine compartment good as well. There is some rust in the drivers front fender.
The body is in decent shape. The left front fender needs repair or replaced . The drivers door has a repairable dent that does not affect the doors operation. Some bubbling in the paint but not much. Bumpers are in decent shape.
Wipers work. Climate control functions work properly but blower motor needs replaced. Seat power functions work but as seen in the photos front seats are shot. Headliner is good. Dash face is good. dash pad has 2 cracks. Door panels are good. Carpet needs replaced. rear seat base is good. Top of the back has cracks and tears.
I love the big classic Ford's and Lincolns. I have a 71 T-Bird that we just finished as well as a 76 Mark 1V I just picked up with only 22K original miles ! I can't keep them all so this 72 Mark 1V as well as my 1980 tbird are up for auction.I need the funds to payoff the 76. Thus this is a now reserve auction with low starting bid of $500.
This is a very cool 72 Mark 1Vthat doesn't need a ton of $ put in it to drive now. Has great rat rod potential as well. The winning bidder won't be disappointed.
Feel free to email or call me (240-750-7040) with any questions. My name is Tom.
Once again thanx for viewing the auction for my 1972 Lincoln Mark 1V.
