1965 Lincoln Continental. This is an above average original two owner car with 46,000 Miles that we believe to be original. This car comes with the original owners manual and owners card along with repair receipts through the years. The Lincoln was bought new on October 8th, 964 at O’Conner Lincoln Mercury in Los Angeles, alifornia. Sometime in the mid 1970’s the car was purchased from a couple who lived in Des Moines, owa. The receipts that came with the car show a timeline of the miles put on it. The car came Equipped with a 430ci V-8, arter 4-barrel carburetor, utomatic transmission, ower windows, ower locks, ower driver and passenger seats, ower brakes, ower steering, ower mirror, ower radio antenna, ir conditioning, ilt wheel, m/fm push button radio, lock, nd leather interior. The power windows, ower locks, ir conditioning, nd the clock are not working. I believe the clock may just need a fuse. The body is very clean and has no rust. There are three small dents in the passenger quarter, ne small dent in the right fender, nd a small dent on the trunk lid. The car has some areas that have been painted sometime in the past. There are some chips in the paint and the left front fender and door has some cracking and peeling in the clear coat. If it wasn’t for that you probably couldn’t tell it’s ever had paint work. The previous owner had put a strip of rubber trim down the middle of the sides. At some point it must have started to peel because they used a small screw on the passenger front door and a small screw in the left fender to hold it on. We took the trim off because it was ugly and didn’t belong on the car. The screw holes are very small and easily repairable. The chrome and the vinyl roof are in excellent condition. The tires were put on in 1995 and I don’t think it was driven much after that. They are in good condition but have flat spots from sitting so it’s a bumpy ride when driving. The Lincoln runs well but the car had sat for many years with gas in the tank. This has caused rust in the tank so it should be replaced. The car does need a little TLC but is in great condition for any car of this era. If you have any questions or would like to see the Lincoln please e-mail, ontact us by phone, r stop out to take a look. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm ct. and on Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm ct.

- The power locks do actually work. Also, he front door windows work just fine but the rear door windows are not working.
- This car has the rare optioned Vertically Adjustable Steering Column and the extremely rare Individually Adjustable Contour Seats.
- This car was built in September of 1964 and has a DSO #84. This stands for "Home Office Reserve". I am researching why it had that designation.
