1993 Lexus ES 300 (85% Restored) 4dr.,Automatic, moon roof. California car with 237,785 that the transmission recently failed on. Good one with 72,000 miles ($1,150) + $ 1,500 installation, gets you a classic great looking car, that will be very dependable. Car originally purchased ~ 2008, had most rubber parts replaced, plus a used engine from Japan with 25k miles installed 3 years ago. New control arms and rack & pinion 2 years ago, plus entire new exhaust & catalytic convertor this year, and 2 years left on battery warranty. All brake lines have been recently replaced, along with radiator all hoses, timing belt & windshield, and new radio/CD/tape player with 6 pack in the trunk. Tinted glass, factory carpeted mats, covered with heavy duty, floor mats. Car has been run exclusively on Shell, using Mobil 1 Full Synthetic and K & N oil filters (every 10k). Brakes are very good, with brand new set of front & rear pads included loose. Rear tail light lens have been replaced 3 times, and front headlights and interior lighting has been updated to brighter LEDs. Car had salvage title due to minor damage to left rear quarter panel, that was pulled out.(see pic) The cars value at the time did not exceed it's value, so insurance decision to scrap, had to be redone, with car being fixed, and re-titled. I've been working restoring this car for 2 decades, and it's in amazing shape, with almost everything still working. A/C needs minor repair, and driver's window has track issues, and right rear does not operate. Car is straight and has never had a serious accident. Minor damage to top of right front fender(see pic), and back up mishap on left rear quarter panel(see pic). Car has new paint on lower trim all around, and front end and rear quarters have new paint, with doors, roof, and deck original paint. Car has good Michelin tires, with some outside wear on 2,due to control arms needing fixing, which was done. Entire exhaust system is new this year, including new catalytic converter. All new except flex exhaust, which is good. This car needs no immediate repairs of anything, except the transmission. This car has been cared for, and is a great buy, with over $10k invested in it's restoration. Moon roof, tilt wheel,power seats, power mirrors, heated seats, cigarette lighter, door locks, all operational. Horn, tachometer, & cruise control were working fine, until mechanic changed dash board lights and use of those 3 features ceased, should be minor electronic fix. Windshield (tinted) is new, all glass intact, free of chips or scratches. Full size spare and rim included.This car was loved and taken care of, everything including starter, fuel pump, and expensive fuel filters recently replaced. All fluids recently topped off, and 1/2 tank of Shell gas included. Air filter was changed 2 months ago, and wipers ($30/ea.) should be good for another 2-3 yrs, along with the tires, depending on your driving mileage.(Vehicle has NO leaks). Someone can have a very cool rebuilt car for under a grand, and have the transmission purchased for $1,150 (Delivered 90 day warranty, 72k miles) and installation guaranteed for $1,500 or LESS by Best Transmission, all contacts furnished, and for $3,650 TOTAL, out the door, have a very cool ride, ready for big tires and rims. Receipts for the last few years included. New spark plug wiring 3 months ago, with new rotor and points. Entire distributor has been replaced in the last 5 years. All door dings were taken care of 3 years ago. Headliner and dashboard are perfect, no burns, cuts or damage to seats. Manual air pump on driver's seat, for lower back support, bladder still operates, along with the heated seats, which were moisturized regularly, along with all door seals, and moon roof gasket, no wind noise, at high speeds. Premium leather steering wheel cover was new 2 years ago. Power antennae motor needs replacement. Trunk release isn't working from inside button release, opens fine with a key, and limits items being stolen from trunk, when car is open.
