DESCRIPTION:(To my best knowledge, buyer is responsible to inspect the car and search car history)
If you are reading this, you must know Lexus SC300, the Lexus version of Toyota Supra with 2JZ engine.
This car was registered under two Japanese names until 2016, one may guess that it was a family transfer but I do not have exact information. Then it had a minor impact on the rear bumper, which is noticeable from closer distance. For that reason it was declared salvaged title by the insurance company and I was able to purchase it through a broker.
Mileage was 53k when I purchased it in 2016, I drove around 5k per year in the last three years, so mileage is 69k now, it may go a bit higher than the exact mileage shown above due to buyers' request for inspection.
Immediately after I purchased the car, I asked my mechanic to flush coolant, brake fluid, engine oil, transmission oil, and differential oil. I also asked him to replace spark plugs and air filter. Timing belt has been changed by the previous owner as indicated by a sticker on the engine. I have always used Mobil 1 synthetic oil, and I just changed oil so it is good for another 6 months or 5k miles. Of course I have always used premium gasoline.
My wife would occasionally drive it too, and once she cracked the passenger mirror while driving out of backyard (pic. 9). I have purchased a used mirror of same color so that it matches the old paint. I have also purchased a used cup holder that matches interior color. I cared so much for the car that I never even started replacing mirror and installing cup holder. They are included in the sale.
Besides the cracks on the rear bumper and normal wear and dings, paint is in excellent condition for the age. It will be immaculate with a professional sand buff and polish. It is already street show car and with a sand buff it will be even shinier. Interior is in good condition too, except for the front seat leather that has aged. There is one big crack on each of the two front seats, but rear seat has no cracks. I spoke with car upholstery once and I almost had him upholster front seats but again I wouldn't feel comfortable tampering its original condition. I also obtained a piece of leather that matches with the intention to repair the seat but again I did not feel comfortable to rip the seat leather.
It has been always parked in my garage, and lately it has been rarely driven. I recommend a fine tune up to achieve the best performance.
