Here is a gorgeous, one owner (husband and wife), garage-kept Lexus LS400 with all the bells and whistles and only 76,806 original miles! (the odometer says 123,608 kilometersscene it is a Canadian car). The AutoCheck score for this vehicle is 45 out of 45 with no accidents reported!
This is a NO RESERVE auction and the starting bid is only $3500; a low price from what I have seen for this model Lexus in this awesome condition and low miles. .
I am selling this for a good friend who lives in Montreal. I’ve known this car to be well kept and reliable for the 10 years I’ve known the gentleman. This Lexus has USA EPA approved emissions and the sticker to prove it, so it will be a breeze to import it to the USA.
This car lives in Montreal, Canada, always garaged and was only driven in 5 out of 25 winters. You will not come by many cars of this age in this wonderful condition. This beauty was meticulously cared for, serviced and oil changed every 5000 kilometers (3100 miles). It's never been in a major accident and has its original paint. This Lexus was in 2 minor incidents with another vehicle in its entire life. They weren’t even fender benders. The first was a bumper touch with another car when the Lexus was practically new, which resulted in zero damage to the car. The second was a couple years ago, where another car bumped into the rear and broke a tail lamp and put a small crack in the rear bumper on the driver side. The tail light was replaced, but the bumper still has a small crack (see picture) which is in the perfect place for a strategically placed bumper sticker.
If you know Lexus, you know this model and year is a classic collectible car that is super reliable and highly desired. Google this model and year and you’ll know what I’m talking about. The engine in this car purrs like a kitten and doesn’t lose a drop of oil. The automatic transmission shifts smooth and quiet like it should. The exterior is in fantastic condition, with only a few small blemishes: a small rust spot on the rear driver side wheel well and another above the passenger side front bumper. There’s a scrape and ding on the 2 passenger side doors, and it has a crack in the bumper as mentioned before. The rockers, body panels and undercarriage are super clean and practically rust free. This car has it’s original paint and no body repairs. I can send you closer pictures of the blemishes if you want.
The interior has all leather seats and has power everything, fully loaded, and the air conditioner is ice cold. Cruise control, power tilt steering, CD Changer/Cassette Radio and no rips or tears anywhere (although the leather has the normal wear you’d expect). All the interior panels are in great shape and the carpet and floor mats are in A-1 condition. There is also a set of rubber mats for the winter (not pictured). Oh, and a power sunroof too!
The trunk area is almost like new. Everything has remained there since the car was purchase from the showroom: spare tire, jack, lug wrench, full Lexus Tool Set (even has the original Lexus towel) and Lexus First Aid Kit is fully intact. The CD changer is in the trunk too. The carpet is very clean and you can see how clean the spare tire area is from the picture.
The tires have plenty of tread and lots of life left (as seen in the pictures). The car also has a factory alarm system.
The only known issues, which I believe are all minor and I’m sure easy to fix are:
#1 cosmetically: the 2 small rust spots, ding in the passenger doors and crack in the bumper.
#2 The "check engine" and "Trac" warning lights are on and need to be cleared, although there is no known negative effect on vehicle performance as we can tell. (see photo)
#3 The power steering pump or hose has a small leak and will likely need to be replaced.
#4 The radio is locked because the passcode was lost. So you need to find out what the master code is to unlock it.
This LS400 drives like a dream and has many, many more years and miles left in it. This can be a daily driver or a collector’s show car. This model is ranked one of the best cars ever built and one of the best cars to buy used. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to own this classic, pampered, low-mile one owner Lexus.
Bid with confidence. I’ve been buying and selling on eBay for 18 years and have a 100% Feedback Rating.
Winning bidder must pay a $500 deposit within 48 hours of the end of auction and balance in cash or cashier’s check upon pick up of vehicle in Montreal, Canada.
