This 1973 Land Rover 88 Series III is a left-hand-drive model. The truck has since undergone a cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment, with work including rust remediation, refinishing the frame, an interior refresh, servicing of the 2.25 inline-four, and updates to the braking and suspension systems. Power is transferred through an overdrive-equipped four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, and additional features include locking front hubs, a removable hardtop, a replacement wiring harness, and a refurbished heater.

The aluminum body panels on this example were refinished in green, with work prior to the repaint including rust remediation and replacement of portions of the frame. The truck is equipped with a removable white hardtop, and additional touches include fender-mounted mirrors, side steps, and a split opening tailgate.

White-painted 15″ steel wheels are mounted with Primewell PA100 tires, and a matching spare wheel and tire are mounted on the hood. The front axle features manually lockable hubs, and drivetrain updates included rebuilding the swivel axles and the replacement of the shocks, bushings, leaf springs, and brake components.

The interior features three individual bolstered front seats that were fitted during current ownership, and further additions include
