1971 Land Rover Series IIA 88” (2A) for sale
This running driving vehicle is ready for your next safari to the ice cream shop or off-road adventure! Lovingly cared for through tasteful applications of expert mechanical guessing, whiskey fueled ‘I can fix anything’ techniques, and benign neglect, this excellent example will serve you another 50 years. She will start from cold and run all day. Over the last few years, using the aforementioned expert approaches, I have replaced nearly everything that needed it and didn’t need to look at pesky instruction book once.
Yes, it is RHD. I have had many RHD vehicles and I have more than 1 now. There are millions of RHD vehicles in use in the USA…think postal carriers…The ONLY time it is a hindrance is going through a drive thru…. Otherwise, it is pretty much like driving a LHD vehicle, just your reference point is on the right not the left now. IMHO, this just adds to the fun of owning and driving a vintage Land Rover.
Chassis is solid. Surface damage etc which is typical. I have had to replace a chassis before on a series truck...this one does not need it.
I have the original Heritage Certificate somewhere from the move and will find it. Just a cool bit of kit to have. Original color is Bronze Green. It is more than one color now.
