VERY SHARP, FULLY RESTORED, UNIQUE LAND ROVER 90 1987 TDI LHD PRIVATE IMPORT

1987 Land Rover Defender Additional Info:

This is my private Landy I own since 2014.
I have brought her from Europe last year, it was professionally restored there to original condition as much as it was possible and more: a complete nut to bolt restoration (hundreds of pictures available), sandblasted and powder painted frame, axles, overhauled engine and transmission, new clutch, new wheels, new tires, new paint, new rear door, reinforced floors, but the interior was kept original, as it is still in a good shape.
These Land Rover Defenders are like legos, can be modified and accessorized to obscene levels, yet I prefer this machine to be pure and laconic, as intended by the manufacturer. Runs well, no issues, these Defenders are legendary because they are reliable and simple to fix, at least 70% of all landies manufactured since 1948 are still running, thus should be treated as way greener vehicles than the most advanced EVs- because they still run, and run well!
There are some cosmetic issues I have not addressed yet, like shifter cowing rubber cracking, or maybe the dash plastic cover should be replaced, but these are minor issues I am sure you won't be bothered with either.
The vehicle is unique because it has a considerably higher, raised roof top, must be a special-order vehicle, the previous owner - a Dutch farmer- could not tell me more, but so you know. This Defender 90 is very special, for many reasons, and I want her in good hands from now on. NO RESERVE auction. Will help you with shipping as much as I can, the vehicle can be driven anywhere though, we live very close to RSW airport, so I can pick you up. The vehicle is sold as is, where is, a professional inspection is advised, but as far as I can tell, I had no issues at all. Clean Florida title, classic tags, way cheaper classic insurance and registration.
