My beautiful rover is now up for sale. Starts every time and hasn’t let me down in over 16 years. I drive her weekly, but she needs a new home. As with all Rovers, she’s very rusty underneath. Both the frame and bulkhead areas, but you could drive her daily around town as she is and she will get you there every time. She starts right up. Yes.... she smokes, leaks and max speed is about 60 if you hold on tight. Steering is smooth, and transmission shifts well most of the time, I have double clutched 4th gear in recent years and hardly downshift. 4wd works great, and 4wd low will pull down just about anything. All electrics work! Even the cig lighter. New carb in the last few years and a new fuel tank too. New seats, new headliner and the inside has been completely rhino lined. Framing and cross members could use some reinforcement if you wanted to tack weld in some areas. I love this truck and it makes everyone happy when they see her. It was in my wedding photos and even in Surfline magazine. Comes with the safari vented top, newly powder coated rims (5) and new BFG Mud terrain tires. Brakes are in need of adjustment. I do this Every year for safety. I regret writing this. It’s making me sad and I wont just give her away. Low ballers need not waste my time.LOOKING FOR A ROVER LOVER TO GIVE HER A NEW HOME.
