I am selling my 1964 Land Rover Series IIA 88. We imported this in 1997, and found significant rust to the chassis. We ended up doing a frame over swap to a galvanized chassis. It has been a 20 year project but she is finally ready for the road but I'm ready for the next project that is a little more family friendly. Over the years I have had 3 different Land Rover shops help out with the project. I probably have over $30,000 invested with receipts for well over $10,000 (looking for the rest). The restoration included galvanized chassis, new gas tank, new wiring harness, brakes, new seats, and new heater core. We kept the original engine and transmission. I am unsure of the actual miles, but it runs great. I can also provide videos or answer any questions. While there is some minor surface rust, the main (expensive) stuff has been completed, and it just needs someone to make the final cosmetic updates.
