The best set up tdi Defender we have owned by far, great off road and beautiful to drive on the freeway. I just did 550 miles from Tucson to Durango and it was great. We have explored the mountains of Northern Sonora and all round Southern Arizona in this truck. Never let us down.
Large list of work done and upgrades in the last few years.
Engine
VGT turbo (generates lots of boost at low and high speeds), Double core intercooler, tuned pump, electric fan, new radiator, much better performance than standard. 75mph easily all day. Never found top speed I let up at 85.
Boost, EGT(Exhaust Gas Temperature is essential to monitor with uprated turbos),oil pressure, temp and tachometer gauges all new in the last 10k miles.

Freshly painted in Portofino Red at a decent paint shop in Tucson, we didn't attempt to remove all trace of previous life and there are some small bumps and imperfections visible. It looks great.
Front doors were replaced from another rust free set we had.
Chassis has been coated prior to my ownership and is fine. No corrosion visable and I have no reason to think there are any gremlins hiding in there. Rear x is solid and in good condition.
Rear door is fine but has a few more bumps and needs a repair section welded in. I will sort out for the asking price. For now it is fine. Pics on request.
Front seats have some tears under the covers. For asking price we will get custom upholstery or do a retrim kit.
This truck is set up for serious use and has hundreds of hours in the upgrades with a total value in excess of 25k USD for the parts and labor.
