The frame and bulkhead are steel, but the body is aluminum, which contributes to its longevity due to its inherent defense against corrosion.

Engine and Transmission
This defender has the fantastic 300TDI 2.5 Turbo Diesel engine. It starts first turn of the key every time. It has great compression on all 4 cylinders. We thoroughly inspected and serviced the motor. The engine has plenty of power . The transmission shifts as it should and 4 high and 4 low work perfectly. The clutch is smooth without any judder or slip. It also has recent new tires with lots of life left.

Body
The bodywork is in good shape (see photos), the rear cross member has been replaced and has been under coated - as has the rest of the under carrage the rest of the under carriage is in very good condition and does NOT need any welding, it has no holes or rust it is structurallyvery sound. It has been wax oiled for protection.

Interior
The Interior is in good condition, it has a fitted trim carpet.
VEHICLE REVIEW
This vehicle has been in daily use, it is in good solid condition with very little signs of wear and use, the bulkhead and door bottoms are all solid WITH NO HOLES as is the rest of the car. Its structurally very sound.It can be used and enjoyed as a daily driver.
