1992 Land Rover Range Rover Pickup Additional Info:
This vehicle is totally unique, there is not another one like it in the world!!!Retro Defenders Ltd offers this Land Rover Defender 90 Pickup, 200 TDi Left Hand Drive for sale. This truck has been totally disassembled to the frame & painstakingly restored with over 1000 hours in the build by our expert technicians. It is a full nut & bolt restoration.
Unlike most Defenders that are imported from the UK, this Left Hand Drive car is completely rust free having been bought from the south of France before being restored in our workshop in Yorkshire, England.
The frame has been sand blasted then coated 4 times in Corroless reinforced chassis paint. Each panel has beenindividuallypainted Atlantic Green then carefully reassembled. The engine, transmission & transfer box have all been fully rebuilt including new gaskets/seals. Most of the panels on the vehicle are new as are the "series" doors with sliding windows which also offer the possibilityof removing the top proportion of the door if desired. A custom black 3" roll cage sits in the tub along with a full, bespoke sealed burnt oak wood lining. The spare wheel is sat on a custom oak box & is removable if desired to give more room in the tub.
Internally the vehicle has a high quality finish with Alcantara steering wheel, headlining & bulkhead. The recaro style seats have a custom element of Atlantic Green in them to match the color of the car perfectly. A removable, custom oak floor finish the interior off beautifully.
