Hi Land Rover lovers!I have two of these, so decided to sell this one.I have added some original Land Rover accessories to the vehicle like steps, flaps, grab bars, etc. to detail it.Actual VIN is, as Ebay won't get with the program SALLDVAF8HA700791Ok, so the milage... 204,660 (329,369km) is, from what I have known, about 1/2 life for this engine.It starts smoke free and runs so well, it may have had work done to it in Italy.But no records...
A couple choices offered...
-It has two spare tire mounts. If you don't want the hood mount, I will remove and supply or credit you $200 for a diamond plate cover for the hood.
-Wheels.It includes the wheels it came with, the classic stamped steel stylized ones (see pics), freshly painted previously. You also have a choice of either Wolf silver wheels with newer mud/snow tires (5), or four Boost alloy wheels, nice condition, older tires. With this choice, the two spares will be the classic steel wheels. Or if you don't want any extra wheels I will credit $500 off selling price.There is at least one spare tire cover, I may have another someplace.This suddenly seems complicated, please ask questions if needed !
-Tuffy steel console. Not bolted in yet, I will install it if you like, very easy.
- I also have another hardtop and rear door for sale separately for $500. It has a nicer, almost perfect headliner in it which you could install in this vehicle as current one sags a little. It also has sliding side windows which could be swapped over. I have new rivets, gaskets etc. to do this. It is in nice shape.
Other notes:
-A couple of the pics are from the previous seller, but I have hardly used it, as I have been working on my other one a '85 LR90, and nothing has changed.-I removed the spares so you could see underneath.-Paint really shines nice. Previous owner spent a lot of time detailing.-So the vehicle is rust free, original paint. The only place there is aluminum corrosion is the driver door bottom, skin only.I didn't see this until I removed the original body stripes that were on it. Not very bad, could be repaired pretty easily. I think it was do to drivers window seal being bad, as it looks to have been replaced just before I got it.-There are a couple small smooth dings on the vehicle, typical I think of the aluminum body. Included are new fender top covers, black diamond plate, and similar ones for behind rear wheels which will cover most of these. I can install for you if you like.-Some filters, and miscellaneousparts included also.-Radio box included, but no radio. Tuffly console has a place for one also.-Starts up instantly, no smoke. Strong runner on the highway. Cruises nice at 65.-In the right light, you can sorta see where the old stripes were. But a little buffing and I am sure this will go away. I just thought they were terrible looking.-If you win and send a deposit, and them come and see vehicle, if you hate it, or not as I have described, I will refund deposit.Otherwise sold as-is, non-returnable.-I can assist with shipping as needed, and can store for a month or so for you if necessary after full payment.-Clear PA title, will be notarized in your name, FedEx'd to you after final payment, or when you pick up.-Comes with original book and some receipts, unfortunately in Italian, unless you are Italian!-New Bosch battery about a year ago.-Vehicle has original jack and tool kit.-Exhaust looks new.-Included is a new nice all metal snorkel, not installed.-New seat covers installed previously, but recently.-Tow hitch with wiring plug installed. Haven't tried it out, but looks good, installed professionally I would think.-I have some rubber end caps for front bumper, new, but not installed.-Includes new "DEFENDER" decal for front, and a nice cast oval Land Rover plate for rear with vehicle VIN stamped on it.-Everything works on the vehicle, lights, horn, blower etc. At least as of today... but it is British !!-Parts are, I think very reasonable and available for Defenders. Here in the US, or from Britain, with shipping not much more these days than domestically.-Kept in a garage always, on a charger. No oil leaks on the floor ! Non smoking car.
