The Defender 110 is the world's most universal people and payload carrier. The 110 fulfills dozens of different roles in virtually every country around the world. It battles across mountains and deserts, plows up to its axles in mud on civil engineering sites. It hauls logs from the depths of forestry estates and helps scientific teams gathering essential data in inhospitable terrains. The 110 also carries aid agencies on life-saving visits to rural communities well beyond the end of the road network. All Defenders are built in that tough, dependable tradition, which is why the vehicle is at home anywhere in the world.

This is a factory V8 Land Rover Defender 110. I bought this Defender in California about 6 months ago. The previous owner represented it as perfect and said it didn't need any work. He also said it came with a full tank of gas so when my cousin-in-law picked it up and drove it 45 minutes home the tank was magically empty. Then it wouldn't start cause of an electrical drain from the starter. I had it shipped from California and it showed up not running. I've been driving it now on occasion and serviced all the maintenance items. Engine runs great and drives down the road straight. We replaced the battery, grounding cable, starter, and alternator. The bulkhead (firewall area) and tub appear to be in good condition which are typically the hardest areas to repair. There is some corrosion present in the front foot wheels, doors, rear door, and one seat box. I have too many vehicles and this one needs a new home. Feel free to ask any questions prior to close. $1000 deposit due within 24 hours. I can help arrange shipping. Vin #:SALLDHMV7FA397565

I forget the passenger side wiper is missing in the pictures. The spindle nut and wiper arm wasn't there when I bought it. Ordered a new spindle nut, wiper arm, and wiper blades early this week so it will be installed before the auction closes. Center Diff was switched to a full synthetic as they seem to like it more from what I read. Front and Rear differentials were flushed and filled with standard gear lube (can't remember the weight right now). The lights on the front loop bar are not hooked up but assume they work. I can test them if it's a big deal or include some working ones if they don't.
Forgot to also mention it is Right Hand Drive! Hopefully that was obvious from the pictures. The window was rolled down because of the dark tint so bidders would notice. And it says right hand drive in "Item Specifics".
I did rework the door locks as the plastic piece where you manually unlock/lock the vehicle are notorious for breaking. When the doors were apart I installed new door clips and retainers on the doors I pulled apart. Door cards (interior panels) were in pretty good shape. Defender doors can be a pain to close so reworked some of the mechanisms and pinch points so they latch easier.
And hopefully if you are bidding on a Land Rover you know the best 2 jokes about them. If it's not leaking, it's out of fluid! If the check engine light isn't on, the bulb is burnt out! With that being said, this Defender hasn't been leaving any stains on the driveway and no check engine lights are on.
