1993 Land Rover Range Rover County Classic LWB. This is the one of the best and last years of the Range Rover Classics! The LWB (Long Wheel Base) we were told, at purchase, were limited to one per state that year. We purchased new, and it has spent it's entire life since in Oklahoma. Autocheck change in ownership shown in 2001 is from us individually to our estate, did not actually change ownership at all. Estate tax lawyers at work! The Autocheck "Fleet" reference is because we have a car collection and apparently the State of Oklahoma thinks that if you have 10+ collector cars you have a "Fleet". Go figure. This has been a personal vehicle since purchased and never on rental or "fleet".
This Range Rover is truly one of a kind, one owner vehicle. Troublesome air suspension has been replaced with coil suspension. British Racing Green exterior paint, special edition 5 spoke matching colored wheels with Hancook Dynapro 4x4 tires 90% tread. Comes equipped with pecan bird’s eye wood trim surrounding all the interior. Vehicle comes with the beautifully designed classic dash (exclusively designed for the later years of the Range Rover classic). Truly a one of a kind all well maintained Classic Range Rover. Vehicle is in very good driver condition, ready for driving or restoration. Interior on this vehicle is in excellent condition, seats and carpeting are absolutely gorgeous and clean! The seats had seat covers put on them by dealer at sale, just removed for first time for these photos, are essentially new. Car had two layers of floor mats put in by dealer at sale, just removed for first time for these photos. Interior and wood trim is in great condition with exception of center console which has lost lamination. Vehicle has been mostly garage kept, vehicle is in amazing condition mechanically and physically. The exterior paint is in excellent condition, with the paint shining like new. Serviced regularly, service records going back to when new. This vehicle comes equipped with a powerful 4.2 liter motor. Vehicle is a 4x4, all-wheel drive, fully loaded, all electrical work, including the CD player. Equipped with the factory Alpine stereo system. AC blows very cold, converted to R134. Vehicle runs and drives like a dream. Great vehicle for collectors who want an extraordinarily rare, original, clean and beautiful Rover for their collection, or to restore!
Negatives are light front end strike (see photos), headliner needs replacement, center console wood grain laminate needs replacement, rust on rear hatch frame bottom (see photos), slight door ding driver’s side, slight strike on roof (no idea when or how), minor oil drip. When we purchased we had them install every protective option there was, and vehicle shows it. I’m an individual who has owned this for 26 years, I’ve done my best to accurately describe, but no warranty included, please inspect. Sold as-is/where-is, I just drive them, don’t work on them. This is a truck that has not been abused on trails, miles are entirely town and highway. It is in excellent condition for being 24+ years old. Serious bidders only, please contact me via eBay if you have any questions, happy to email more photos.
The Range Rover Classics are the first ever luxury sport utility, from a time when luxury meant leather, heated seats, and climate control on a true off-road capable vehicle, can’t even be compared to today's AWD vehicles with plastic bumpers, ground effects, low-profile highway tires and wheels. The original Range Rover retained its body style and basic design for 25 years, from 1970 to 1995.
