This is it: a rare private sale of the original 1987 Landy. This is a heightened version 90, this Defender 90 has a taller roof, and it is registered as a van, but can be easily converted into a passenger vehicle with either 4+3 seats or 3+ 2 front facing seats.
It was a hard work to get it into this stunning state, as the frame had a lot of rust, everything was leaking and the body was showing signs of aluminum corrosion.
The frame was properly sandblasted, primed, painted, as well as axles, gearbox, differential etc. Has all new high quality doors, new rubbers, the engine was properly overhauled, ceilings/ carpets redone- took me two years and I've loved it.
Great new paint, all the restoration pictures are available on request so you can see that no expense nor labor was sparred to do a proper job.
This great looking Land Rover was kept original, unmodified, unmolested, it has got nothing what does not belong to this legendary vehicle apart from LED headlights and modern bluetooth radio. Mileage is in kilometers, currently over 220 k, I love driving this friendly beast daily, so it may change. The VIN:SALLDVBB8AA299824 as older European VINs are not being accepted here.
