FULL HISTORY
All Land Rover Defenders have a story. My great uncle showed me his series 2 land rover when I was 10. I have since been in love with these vehicles. I grew up in Walessurroundedby Defenders used as farm vehicles and have wanted to own one ever since. I imported this one a two years ago on a trip through France with my father in which I bought another Defender for a friend of mine. This one is originally from the Netherlands and came with a spark plug sticker (even though its a diesel) and a heavy metal rock CD inside. Little did I know Defenders are known as a 49 state vehicles in the US. You can register them easily in every state but California. I have tried for nearly 2 years to find a way to register this vehicle in California with no luck. During the process I used DMV temporary permits to use this car as a daily driver. Its a champion. When I imported it to Oxnard it survived the 110degF heat of LA in rush hour. On my last trip before deciding to sell it I took it camping (yes you can fit a queen size mattress in it)at 6000ft elevation. No problems. If I could I would keep this car forever. Its old and perfectly imperfect. If you want character, fun and simplicity in a car look no further. If you want AC and the quiet life go buy a civic. Please be ware that it is an old vehicle and requires mechanical upkeep. Previous owner modified the roof to have additional space and painted it Grey from its original green which you can see on the interior. This is a 29 year old vehicle and not in showroom condition. It has the usual defender dings and small dents but very good for the year. It has a rear storage box and no rear seats. Since Land Rover stopped production of the Defender in 2015, these have become increasingly rare and sort after. This car is a fun daily driver and very good off road.
THE TRUCK IS NEARLY COMPLETELY ORIGINAL
THE CAR IS LOCATED IN OCEANSIDE, CALIFORNIA AND READY TO TITLE OUTSIDE OF CALIFORNIA.
