LAND ROVER - RANGE ROVER COUNTY LWB 1993

Plymouth Blue and Saddle Leather - Color Matched Wheels

It is common to read a listing telling you that “this is the best car of its type that you will find”, but this time it may be true. I have owned this Range Rover for a couple of years and have maintained and restored it with an open cheque book. It is in amazing condition with all the mechanical stuff repaired or replaced, the Electronic Air Suspension is intact and works perfectly, and the interior leather and finish looks almost new. It is a delight to drive, turns heads and starts conversations everywhere, and is a completely practical everyday driver or grand tourer. I have listed below all the work that I have done - total expenditure was way more than I am asking for the car - and I’d welcome any independent inspection from a serious buyer. The sale comes with the original Land Rover Expedition roof rack that I have re-installed.

I was not planning to sell this car but our household plans have changed - more time away from home and less time to mess with cars - and we are reducing the car and motorcycle inventory and this one has to go - really reluctantly. Let me know if I can answer any questions and I’m happy to send more specific photos if needed. It needs to go to a good home.

Work Done:

All the work was completed by Green Oval Motors in Portland, Oregon; the premier independent Land Rover mechanics in this town.

- All suspension and steering bushings replaced

- Electronic Air Suspension air springs, pump, and level sensors inspected or replaced

- All engine gaskets and seals replaced

- New power steering pump and all pressure lines

- Transmission seals and gaskets replaced

- New radiator and all hoses

- New coil, plugs, injectors, and fuel pump

- New seat and mirror ECU

- Replaced both front door lock actuators and serviced central locking system

- Replaced all door and hood light switches

- New perfect headliner - original ones renowned for drooping

- New glass tailgate surround - old ferrous one is a rust trap

- New mud flaps on all four corners

- Replaced radio with Bluetooth enabled Kenwood with remote control

- New Kenwood 5-way power amplifier, new speakers, and new custom sub-woofer

- Recent service of all fluids and filters

- Low miles on almost new Cooper Discoverer A/T3 tires - profile matched to OEM specification

- Complete repaint in original Plymouth Blue - all panels refinished with zero dings

- Driver seat and bolster re-padded - leather in almost perfect condition

- Carpets and carpet mats are in great condition

- Front “Brush Bar” removed, blasted, and powder coated

- Driving lamps added to brush bar and integrated into standard light switches

Includes original equipment Land Rover Expedition roof rack

What does NOT work:

- Cruise control - known fault on these cars and no spare parts

- Remote locking - single button remote failed and no spares available

- Seat Memory - ditto - failed early and no repair - adjustment works perfectly

CARFAX is clean except for "slight damage reported" in 1998. There is absolutely no indication on the car that this we any more than cosmetic. I can send a scan of the CARFAX report to anyone who expresses interest.
