For your consideration is a 1982 Land Rover Series 3 88" 7 Seat Station Wagon; the predecessor to the Land Rover Defender. This Land Rover is in very good condition given its age and off-roading prowess. It has been treated to many upgrades making it both an incredibly able off-road machine, as well as a distinctive vehicle for driving around town.
Right hand drive
4 speed no overdrive (this rover is not fast, tops out at about 50 mph in 4th.)
Major points:
-2.5 litre diesel longblock with less than 10,000 miles that is mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.
-ExMoD 24 spline front axle with 11 inch brakes that greatly improves stopping power.
-Tropical roof that protects the cabin from direct sunlight and allows fresh air to pass through the vents.
-Four folding rear jump seats
-Genuine Camel Trophy style brush guard.
-Brownchurch roof rack with access ladder. Original rear step is still in place for ladder access.
-Warn 8k winch
-Lower floor panels and seatbox has been treated to Dynomat to keep displace noise and heat.
-ExMoor style floor mat for the passenger area including the seatbox.
-Custom heavy-duty rubber mats covers the rear area including the wheel wells.
-Padded door trim panels.
-Rear fog lamp.
-Rear reverse/work lamp.
-Class 3 hitch bolted directly through the cross member.

The exterior has some bumps and bruises. Treating it to a good wax job would probably restore the shine to the paint, or you can keep it as is with its rugged good looks. The fuel gauge doesn't function so keep the jerry can full! Also like any land rover make sure the fluid levels are topped off!
Underbody and frame are very clean with no rust! Truck is very solid!
