1963 Lancia Flavia Coupe 1.8L Barn Find Additional Info:

Found hidden away in a Sonoma wine country barn in 2017, this splendid all original Pininfarina 1963 Lancia Flavia 1800 Coupe was discovered and preserved for the future.

Out of sight for over thirty years, this genuinely authentic Flavia 1.8L two + two seater, features an aluminum H4 boxer engine of 100 hp+.

Its engine equipped with over-head valves, four horizontally-opposed cylinders and twin Solex carburetors, this Lancia Flavia suspension employed forward-thinking, front-wheel drive design which changed drive train engineering forever.

Also donning a racing-inspired, Pininfarina-designed removeable front engine chassis which disconnects easily with just a handful of bolts undone. The entire engine sub-carriage then pulls straight out of the chassis for quick pit stops on the go.

This rare beige-colored Lancia Flavia’s chassis produced in 1963 and is one of only a handful which have survived with original paint, matching factory engine, and with tan/brown upholstery and seats.

Sporting an artistic creation on the rear deck, depicting a hand-painted Ferrari 'Prancing Horse' emblem, this storied artwork is still present on the rear of this Ferrari-inspired Lancia Flavia.

Brought back to life to period-correct running operation, this Flavia 1800 has had extensive service replacing fuel lines, brake linings, Michelin tires, hoses and belts.

Note: Lancia is NOT restored, just brought back to running condition. Paint has NOT been touched and is weathered and original, interior has NOT been restored and needs attention. Seats and upholstery still have wear and 60 years of patina. It is a true barn find which can be restored and eligible for all Concours events around the globe.
