1976 Lancia Scorpion
2L Engine upgrade
5 speed manual
Unknown mileage (the upgraded 2L engine was rebuilt once from what I understand, the chassis is over 100K).
Mechanical:
Runs and drives fine.
14” Intra wheels.
One exhaust header stud broken. Using double gasket.
Steel coolant tank.
36dcd carb with custom manifold.
Electronic ignition.
Manual choke.
No brake booster.
No AC.
No emissions equipment.
Recent clutch and timing belt, recommend replacing belt due to age.
Primaflow exhaust.
Few minor oil leaks on motor and transaxle.
Spare wheel and tire.
Body:
Underside and floor pans are in good shape.
Originally blue, I had it painted yellow shortly after purchase.
Small rust spot on right rear fender. Was fixed when car was painted, came back over the years.
Rust on right rear rocker panel in front of the wheel.
A little bubbling on left front fender. I think the liner rubbed against the paint.
Some surface rust inside rear roof (part that covers rolled up roof).
The front headlight buckets and front crosspiece were painted to match the body, the paint has bubbled in some areas. These are plastic so it is not rust.
Includes a rare double bubble roof. Original soft top has shrunk a bit. Roof straps broke and were repaired with hinges.
Has a Montecarlo badge but the body shop put it and the Lancia badge on in the wrong order. I never fixed it.
Interior:
Original leather seats are shot and are covered with high quality sheepskin. Seat recliners work fine.
Rear panel has an indentation because previous owner was missing the seat recliner and just sat against the rear panel.
After market steering wheel. Leather is dried out along the top.
Carpets and dash in good shape.
Boot “carpet” has a tear and rust stain from the jack rusting on it.
Some peeling inside the front trunk. Body shop painted over the original blue with satin black.
This car and its red sister used to rule the highways of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. With very little body work and maintenance this Scorp would be a fine example.

Note to foreign buyers. Apparently my Ebay seller's account expired, and I no longer have enough feedback to accept international bids. USA buyers only.
