1994 Lamborghini Diablo VT Additional Info:

Offered for sale, my childhood Dream Car. I realized a lifelong dream 5 years ago, when I purchased this 1994 Lamborghini Diablo VT. If you’re looking at this ad, you might well be in pursuit of the same dream or maybe you are just drawn to the same outrageous styling of this classic exotic as I was. Either way, this is an opportunity for you to experience the same joy that I have had in owning, and more importantly, driving this car.

I purchased this car from a dealer who was selling it for a customer who had this it in their collection. At that time in 2012 it had 11,875 miles on it. The Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) was done by a very reputable authority on Lamborghini’s, North Coast Exotics in Cleveland, Ohio. The report, which I have included, came back very favorably as you will see. This is an original car which was very important to me. The paint was electronically measured and believed to be original. The only modifications to the car, as purchased, were a Tubi Muffler and an upgraded radio. I had a clear bra installed before I took delivery.

Over the next year of ownership, I had the car sorted by GT Motorsports in Wisconsin. The owner of the business is the only employee and my passion for this vehicle might only be rivaled by his. He has restored and sorted some of the finest automobiles to ever hit the most prestigious auction blocks.

As you might imagine, these cars were not built to sit in a collection. They were built to be driven! To insure that this car was in perfect working order, GT Motorsports went through the vast majority of everything found in the engine bay. I’ve included the service receipt for the initial service on 9/26/2012, right after I purchased the car, where basic service was performed. I also included the follow-up service receipt (4/11/2013) where a major overhaul was performed to restore the engine to perfect mechanical condition.

After that first major overhaul 4 years ago, this car has been nothing but spectacular to drive. With the exception of the secondary catalytic converters needing attention on 11/4/13, there have been no issues, no surprises…just turn the key and watch the world around you light up in awe as you share this piece of automotive history with them on the road.

I never considered myself the owner of this car, just the caretaker. I felt it was my responsibility to make every effort to ensure that this car was in perfect mechanical condition so that the next “caretaker” could carry on the legacy of this Italian masterpiece. Having driven it less and less each of the past 4 years, I have decided that it’s time to consider purchasing another car. Surely nothing will ever replace this…my childhood Dream Car, but life’s a journey, and reluctantly, I feel it’s time to pass this car on to the next person who will hopefully enjoy and care for it as much as I have.

Due to the limited number of photos that can be posted, I could not include all of the service history. Every year, I had all the fluids changed and an Annual Oil Analysis performed by Blackstone Laboratories to look at the health of the engine. All reports came back with positive results. All documented history will accompany the sale of this car and can be provided to interested buyers.

Here is a list of the minor imperfections that keep this car from being flawless.

· Exterior:

o Paint – Road rash on the front bumper. This has not gotten any worse over the past five years since applying the clear bra on Day 1 of ownership. The clear bra encompasses the entire front half of the car and all leading edges front to back. All other paint surfaces have very minor imperfections throughout. My choice was to keep the paint original so this did not bother me.

o Wheels – The OEM wheels have some “light scratches” on them as noted in the PPI from 5 years ago. – I replaced all 4 tires in 2013. Documentation will be included.

o Passenger side window – Shows a small area with scratches. Approximately 1” x 1”. Note on the 4/11/2013 service record that the window was addressed. It was stuck in the down positon and needed to be fixed. When this occurred, a metal component that failed inside the door panel scratched the window. Again, wanting to keep the car original, I chose not to replace the window. I have the quoted paperwork from Lamborghini to replace the window. At the time of the quote it was $1565 plus labor.

o Above rear bumper – Center of car, small part of the trim work is slightly concave (bowed in). Very difficult to see

· Interior:

o Light scratches on and around the ashtray lid (also noted on the PPI).

o The indicator for slippery road conditions (snowflake) will flicker. Replacing the sensor in the front bumper would correct this.

My schedule is very busy on weekdays, but please let me know if you have any additional questions, and I will make every effort to answer them as quickly as I can.

Thank you,

Chris
