1969 Jeep Commando Additional Info:
Okay it's time to sell off the 1969 Jeep commando that was from the same estate as the jeepster convertible I sold last week.
I was told this jeep was a one owner jeep, showing 36,183 on the odometer. It's a 1969 Jeep Commando C101 4X4 with a V6 225 engine and manual transmission withhi-lo transfer caseand warn lockout hubs onthe front wheels. The metal hard top is removable. There has been a few upgrades done, newer holley carburetor, electric fuel pump, new gas tank, and gauges. The interior has black carpet, newer seat covers, new heavy rubber floor mats front and rear. This jeep has original red door panels and red interior panels in the rear area as well. The back seat is still original redand could use a good cleaning but looks ok. There is some rust on the underside, some area's repaired years ago- floors look to be repaired as well. The Frame is solid. There has been some touch up paint here and there, there is scratches and small dents. (see pics)Last week we had the carburetor rebuilt and installed a new battery to get it running again. We did drive it right out of the garage. The clutch was tigh, however the brakes are weak and will need to be looked at, maybe just need to be bled,I would suggest the jeep to be tuned up and looked over before its on the road again, it too has been sitting a few years.
A very nice original stock looking jeep commando. Many of you missed the last one, don't let this one get away.
We have the reserve set low to sell, If there are any questions please ask and I will do my best to answer them.Thank you.

*Added info on drivers door jam. Service tag shows Dated 5-2-75 Mileage being 29,155, today mileage is showing 36,183. So in 41 years that's only been 7028 miles put on.That's because he never drove it off his ranch asI'm told.
