The ’72 “bullnose” is very original, including the seats, hubcaps, dashboard, and steering
wheel. The body is very rusty, the frame has surface rust but is intact. The engine and
drivetrain appear original. Previous owner had this sitting in his front yard in Pennsylvania
for 30 years. So, I got rid of all the critters for you, but to be clear this is a parts vehicle. I’m
assuming the engine is locked.
The ’73 is in much better condition, having driven home under its own power from Virginia
to Pennsylvania in 2016. The previous owner started the restoration by refreshing the
engine (plugs and wires), brake lines, adding the front clip, and installing some horrendous
front seats and a comically small steering wheel. Body is in very nice condition, as is the
metal top and the frame. I do not have the original clip, but there is a new(er) tailgate
included waiting for you to install. Sits on 31” BFGs that look to have never touched the
ground but are well past their in service dates.
I have the title to both vehicles, neither is in my name.
Included in this sale are parts from a 2003 Jeep Wrangler that I was going to use to update
the ’73:
• 4.0 liter I-6, 80,000 miles, ran great when pulled, steering column, engine
accessories included (alternator etc) from a manual transmission vehicle
• Engine harness, PCM, gauge cluster
• Fuel tank
• Wooden crate full of other parts to make this all work
Are 100% of the parts there to make the swap? No. Is most of it there? Yep. I had planned
to use the transfer case and axles from the ’73. The transmission would need to be
sourced.
One price for both vehicles
Located in Palmyra PA 17078, you will need a trailer for
both vehicles, but I can help you load them and can be flexible about picking everything up. eBay added something called "Secure shipping" which I assume is for a high end vehicle, not a 50 year old Jeep. I don't know what it is, I can't modify or remove it, and I assume you won't request it as it appears to be at the buyer's expense. Thanks.
