1979 JEEP CHEROKEE CHIEFORIGINAL SURVIVOR210-548-1310 HAWKHere’s one special Jeep, and I would say…..rare to find in this original surviving condition. First off……the truck has only 76,000 original miles. Its original and complete 360 V8 engine runs great! The Jeep is equipped with power steering, power disc brakes, tilt steering wheel, and factory air conditioning. Oh….the power rear glass in the tailgate works fabulous as it was gone through. (Happy to send video of operation.) I was told this is a problem area in these trucks.All the glass is good, windows roll up/down smooth. The truck has its original “Native American” style interior and its very nice. The drivers seat has a few cracks on the entry side.The dash pad is NOT a dash cap…..and it’s perfect. No cracks and its original. The carpet should be replaced. The original card-board headliner……is extremely nice.All the gauges work! Strong oil pressure, and does not over heat! A/C is all there but needs service. I will say, these AC systems when working will freeze you out! The truck is sitting on its original Jeep Wagon Wheels with new tires and we just installed a new battery. The body is very nice, very solid. There is some rust in the factory fender flares but only one should really be addressed. The bottom-side is impressive. No scaly mess on frame rails, no rust in the rockers. The floors, body mounts etc are very nice. Noticed a small straight line of rust in the same spots in floor boards either side.The truck comes with a new in the box Cherokee Chief graphics kit as pictured. I decided to hold off installing thinking someone might like it as is……..The Jeep is located in San Antonio Texas. Comes with clear Texas title. Thanks!!!!!IMPORTANT!!!!
