This 1986 CJ7 Laredo Jeep is a black modified vehicle with updates to the interior and drivetrain AMC 360 v8 (significant exterior rust/project). The owner has had it for 5+ years and the vehicle runs great and is mainly used as a grocery-getter once in awhile. It has a clean title and maximum 35000 miles on it.

BODYMAN’S SPECIAL: 1986 CJ7 Laredo AMC 360 rebuilt engine (sometime before I bought it with @25,000 miles on it), 3-speed automatic transmission rebuilt maybe 5 years ago. No leaks! Aftermarket parts and tinkering got me through the pandemic. Replaced manifold with headers and straight pipes. 35,000 miles AT MOST— I barely drove it, maybe 500 miles/year tops over the last decade. LOUD. Video to come.
I’m not trying to BS anyone — it’s obviously a rust bucket, but with a solid drivetrain. Frame in good shape with just some surface rust. I probably spent $6K minumum on new and aftermarket parts to give me something to do during the pandemic, including: new alternator (not rebuilt); everything Edelbrock I could find, from valve covers to FireMax distributor to VS2 carb. Red top battery. New starter coil, plugs and wires, tires and front hubs; belts and hoses. Every mechanic that’s looked at it says it’s bored out with a different/ “hot” cam. It’s spunky and loud. Security feature— hidden switch to complete electric circuit so it will start.
Comes with new Poison Spyder rocker panels, powdercoated— that’s $500 right there. New Hi-Lift jack included.
