Listing this 1961 Jeep Willys Cj5 for my buddy Matt. This Jeep is selling with No Reserve. Please bid with the intention to buy. This Jeep is also listed for sale locally and will end the auction early if it sells.Selling my 1961 Jeep Willys CJ5. I’ve enjoyed this Jeep for the past two years. I’ve put a lot of money into the car to make it a reliable driver to cruise my family to the beach, kids sports and around town.I bought the Jeep from a good friend who lives in Paso Robles. He had owned it for 5 years and had the following work done.Rebuilt motor (now has around 2000 miles on it).New Front Disk BrakesNew Bushing (body to frame)Rebuilt SteeringNew ShocksNew SpringsOverdriveNew Cooper 31x10.5 All Terrain Tires (the spare tire is not new)5 New Black WheelsNew Sway barsRear axle rebuild with PositractionNew WiringI’ve had the following work done by OC Cars in Orange County. I have the receipt for $6,000 plus.Resealed the transmissionResealed the transfer caseReplace the transmission clutch plate and bearingsReplace transfer case bearingsReplaced inner and outer tie rodsRear end resealNew gauges (fuel, temp and speedo)R&R Front and Rear driveshaftReplace u jointsReplaced voltage regulatorRebuilt generatorAgain my goal was to make this jeep is a reliable driver and fun to enjoy. That’s exactly what it’s been for me over the past couple of years.I’m not sure when the Jeep was painted and the interior redone. It has been driven and enjoyed since. The paint shows some character with some chips and scratches. The interior is in good shape given it’s a convertible. It shows some wear but overall fitting for the Jeep. It’s not a show truck but a great looking Jeep that is meant to be driven. The engine sounds good and runs well. The transmission shifts smoothly as it should. The only thing I I was planning to do under the hood was minor. I was going to change out the electric fuel pump to something that was a little quieter.I get thumbs up and questions every time I take the jeep for a spin. It’s gonna be hard to find a cooler car/truck at this price point.I have additional pics and videos for those who are serious buyers. It’s best to come and see it in person. The jeep located in San Clemente, CA.You can tell that I have much more into the jeep than it’s listed for.Clean title in my name. Please call/text with any questions.Matt949-500-five four zero two
