I have been collecting, chasing and promoting AMC Jeeps for 20 years all across the world. Here is a great find that checks so many boxes making it an enjoyable classic and collectable vehicle.1981 Jeep CJ5 Renegade Olympic White with Nutmeg interior. Milage is a low 37,560 miles of which 99% was spent in Southern California which benefited this CJ5 greatly. Due to the dry air this Jeep has no rust. Its bone dry. Additionally, all the intact California emissions that rusted quickly on the east coast are like new on this unit. The power comes from a smooth 6cyl 258 with T176 Heavy Duty 4 speed transmission and Dana 300 dual range transmission. These 6 cylinders in low milage form run incredibly smooth and pull strong, almost sporty.The paint and graphics are 90% original with only minor scratches and imperfections. There are a few small chips in the graphics but nothing abnormal. The only area of paint addressed is the rear corners as something had rubbed the paint. It's a perfect match and blend.
