If you're looking for an affordable entry into the Jeep CJ, then look no further. This Jeep came to me from Southern California and has an outstanding body with zero rust present on the body or frame.
The Jeep is a 1983, but is finished in a 1984 color code of 4K, which is silver metallic. This must have been a special ordered color since it was not a standard color offered for that year.
Jeep has a strong engine and runs well, but shuts off if you're not "feathering" the gas. Probably needs a carburetor rebuild. Engine sounds strong and shifts nicely. I've only driven this Jeep a mile or so and parked it for the time being. Figured it's time to give it a new home as I won't get around to rebuilding the carb anytime soon.
It's a 41 year old vehicle. Has a lot of potential. Here is some recent work done with receipts:

• Newer tires
• New clutch installed

• Needs a carburetor rebuild. OR better yet, install EFI and be done with the carb hassle!
• Shift boots need replacement
• Rear driver side quarter panel has small dent. My PDR guy says easy work.
• Driver side "Renegade" hood decal removed by a previous owner for unknown reason.
• Windshield frame has very minor rust near the glass seal as seen in the photos.
