1987 Jeep Wrangler YJ 76,250 miles. 4.2 liter straight 6 with 5 speed manual transmission. No rust. Thousands spent in recent parts, repairs and maintenance. Clean CarFax available. Jeep runs and drives great no wandering and no steering wheel shakes. This was a New Jersey shore summer use vehicle only. Have original window sticker and other literature.

Original rare medium blue metallic paint with factory sport décor option that includes graphics and decals. First year of the Jeep Wrangler YJ.

In March 2023 I just spent $2,475.00 for a new battery, new alternator, carburetor adjustment/gasket, transfer case fluid replaced, transfer case vacuum switch and removal and replacement of transmission in order to sort out internals to correct poor shifting into 1st gear.

In 2022 installed 4 brand new Goodyear tires now with less than 500 miles. 4 professionally refinished original wheels ($700.00) with new centercaps. Spare tire is original on original rim.

Please preview driving videos which illustrate how well the Jeep operates on narrow country roads, straight up a steep mountain road and over a windy bridge at highway speed. Please note there is an issue downshifting from 5th to 4th gears at higher speeds or higher RPM’s like 55mph. I have driven the Jeep about 500 miles this way just never have time to use the Jeep or get it back to the shop that did work on the transmission in the Spring of this year. At higher speed downshifts from 5th to 4th it grinds.
