A great looking and running piece of history. I think the only car I've gotten more thumbs up in is my VW Bus. I purchased the Jeep in October of 2019 from out west as a project. The interior was great but the paint had been stripped away by the sun. It went through a full bare metal prime and paint. After that, new wood grain and trim went on. The final step was have the engine completely rebuilt by a local shop. This is the perfect fall car!
- Freshly Rebuilt Motor and New Carburator- New Radiator, Water Pump and Belts- Repainted in 2020- New Wood Grain Vinyl and Trim in 2021- New Rear Carpet and Headliner- $4,000+ of recent work including rebuilt brakes, seals, exhaust, and more!
Known Issues:- Cruise Control Doesn't Work
- A/C Doesn't Work - May just need R-12 charge or conversion to newer coolant- Front Passenger Seat Switch doesn't let it go forward. I'll try and fix the switch before the auction ends and update the listing- Drips from transfer case. I believe it is the output shaft seal. It will take it back to the shop this week for them to fix it.
