1972 Jeep CJ-5 Cj5 Additional Info:

1972 Cj5 Jeep Factory 304 V8 Rare,3 spd transmission with tall gear, 4x4 with high,lo, undercarriage, tie rod, Etc excellent condition, Jeep is aligned, goes straight down the road, very very clean. Brakes and all lights work properly Runs and drives great. Engine purs like a kitten. Garage kept This was originally from West Tennessee and spent most of its life on a farm . It sat in a barn for 15-20 years unused. It ended up in a estate liquidation sale about 10 years ago when original owner passed. The individual whom handled the sale acquired the Jeep and put it in his personal collection. Mileage is just under 83,000 and appears to be correct.

Everything is original and stock . Bod, floors look grea, no rot . No fiberglass tub garbage. Storage under passenger seat.

The only things I’ve done are: Added brand new Hedman Header, complete new stainless dual exhaust and Flowmaster type mufflers, new brake light switch, tuned engine with new plugs, wire, new alternator, Amsoil z-rod oil change good for 15,000 miles or 1 year.

Known issues: small crack on passenger side windshield, wipers not operating( should be easy fix) if you want to use in rain, fuel gauge reads higher than is . The paint on this is a rust oleum type . Looks great, but is not smooth and glossy (it’s better like this on a 52 year old Jeep).

Jeep drives great 55-65 mph, I’ve never tried going faster or driving on the interstate. Would be ideal for a vacatio, beach home or just to collect.
