Here is my 1986 Cherokee XJ. 4 door. 2.4L I4. Fantastic condition for a Cherokee that is almost 38 years old. No rust. Frame and undercarriage great. Has not seen winter since I've owned it. I bought it from someone in Indiana about 6 years ago. Vehicle does not have the typical NY rust. Engine runs great - has new serpentine belt, battery, plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, air filter, egr valves. Interior is original with no tears or problems. Has new 2.5 in spring lift with new coil springs up front and leaf springs in the rear. New shocks, sway bar disconnects, steering stabilizer. Rear brakes are completely new - drums, shoes, hardware, cylinders. Also has new rear axle bump stops. New E-Brake cables. Front pads are about 2 years old. EAG roof rack with two mounted gas Rotopax and 2 water Rotopax. LED LIGHTING - Custom roof light bar, new LED headlights and front bumper mounted bar/pods. - all with full color app controlled halos. Both front and rear bumpers also have plain white LED lights mounted as well. All lights are controlled by dash switches as shown in video. Diamond plate guards were put on simply because I liked the look. THEY ARE NOT COVERING RUST - THERE IS NO RUST UNDER THESE and this can be seen by a closer inspection. Wheels are original, however, I only have 4. Been trying to find a match for the spare but no luck yet. It has a complete set of five tires which have less than 1000 miles on them. Inside back hatch I mounted a lockable storage draw that can be opened with a key or a thumbprint system. My original intent was to use this as a weapons drawer. I put a piece of foam inside that I was going to cut out for my specific choices but never got that far. Foam is new and uncut. Can be easily removed if you want to use drawer for something else. Brand new 10,000 pound wired/wireless winch. New front and rear bumpers. INSPECT THIS ANY WAY YOU WISH - BRING YOUR OWN MECHANIC OR HAVE IT CHECKED LOCALLY. Not many 38 year old XJ's left in this condition. Let me know if you want specific photos -I have no problem sending them.I really don't want to sell it but life dicates otherwise.
