Amazing California car in its original paint with original very rare and highly sought after nutmeg Laredo seats and factory air conditioning! Vehicle spent most of its life with original owner in Calabasas, California. Tub is as solid as I’ve ever seen in a CJ (see carpet replacement pics). Absolutely no rot. 2” binder includes original window sticker, dealer papers and service work performed since new.258 has been upgraded with MOPAR MPI fuel injection. Immediate cold start turn key driver. 5 speed with new clutch. It can easily go 70mph on the interstate with the A/C blowing Ice Cold! Approximately 90k miles on replacement MOPAR 4.2L.
This CJ has been unbelievably reliable and easy to drive. Could very easily be a daily driver.Tons of new parts- new(never used) badlands winch, brake rotors, clutch, 33” tires, wheel bearings, shocks, flow master exhaust, misc. sensors, O2 sensor, carpet. . Paint is original with some minor touch ups. It’s 40 years old and the fenders are starting to show some patina/rock chips in spots. Paint on Hood and tub is thinning in certain spots, but overall in excellent shape, especially given the age. Overall, the paint is 7/10. New carpet. Very clean interior. Driver seat has a few split seams, passenger seat looks great. Rear seat has small split, but also very nice.
