1981 Jeep CJ Additional Info:

Up for auction is a restored 1981 CJ8 Scrambler. The restoration started with 53,000 miles on the jeep. The frame was replaced with a new frame from TDK (Throttle Down Kustoms). The body tub was replaced with a steel tub and had bed liner sprayed inside and underneath. The jeep has a 258 inline six that's been freshened up with rings, bearings, cam, lifters, seals, etc. The transmission is a T176. The transfer case was checked and new seals installed. The axles have been rebuilt - 410 gears, new u-joints, brakes. The rear axle has had one piece axles installed. The jeep sits on a 2 1/2 inch Rancho lift kit with HD shackles and new 33x12.5x15 BF Goodrich AT's with American Racing wheels. The jeep was painted Montana Blue and the Scrambler stripe kit was applied. The original color for the jeep was brown. The jeep runs and drives great.
