1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4.0L Additional Info:
I am the third owner. My mom originally bought it from the dealer, then I bought it from her and this Jeep has done well throughout the years. From winter blizzards in Death Valley to holiday trips up the California coast and beyond to the Redwoods. So many great memories.
This Jeep has never towed anything in its entire life. The engine remains strong as ever. The only real changes I have done compared to stock were adding side step bars, adding a lift kit and changing the rims and tires. This is *NOT* a 4x4. Just lifted, thats all. Brakes are good. Transmission only a few years old. The only major challenge Ive ever had was the dreaded "cherokee oil leak" which is common for these Jeeps. I finally replaced the oil pan gasket as well as the top cover gasket and all is good.
NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT (thumbs up right here)
Here are the problems to consider:
- engine motor mounts need replacing- transmission seal needs replacing- headliner needs replacing (I'll give you new material)- exterior paint good, needs clay bar & waxing- interior is gray and needs a good shampoo cleaning
- a/c needs recharge- wiper fluid container needs replacing
I'd get all these done myself but just dont have the time anymore. The Jeep is definitely drive-able and a joy to drive. I dont recommend driving it over 50mph until the motor mounts are replaced.
I'll upload interior shots when I have time or just come by and check it out. Interior is excellent, just needs cleaning.
Offers considered.
