The 1977 Jeep CJ5 is one rugged machine. This is a lifted 4x4 with V8 power and all the right accessories to get you into or out of trouble. And the best part is, it's all wrapped in quite a handsome package. This CJ has an awesome look of a true off-road machine. Up front there's an upgraded bumper that has strong tubular steel to forge a path ahead, and at the same time, protect the Rugged Ridge... winch. Fender flares helping to contain the 15-inch Mickey Thompson tires dominate the sides. And the rear has a proper trailer hitch to make sure you can take all your gear with you. All of this is finished in black, which makes it pair so nicely with a modern application of the gray paint on the body. It has a dark tone to complement the black, but there's also plenty of metallic element and clearcoat luster to give this a terrific look whenever sunshine finds this Jeep. The black Bestop soft top package looks crisp and complement the color them nicely. But we all really know that a CJ is meant to be open to the world. That's why it's also great to see the black and gray theme continue inside. The rugged feeling remains with proper liner paint on the floor and color-matched roll bar. Plus, there are newer seat cover that are taut and weather resistant. But you can also tell they invested in quality. The steering wheel feels grippy, dash is crisp and clean, and it even has a nice upgrade to an AM/FM stereo with aux inputs for modern music and even a USB port to power your accessories in the wilderness. The engine bay has the same clean and well-invested look as the rest of this Jeep. This gives you a nice look at a Jeep legend, the 304 cubic-inch V8. This is a torque master, and so it delivers the kind of rock-crawling muscle you want in a Jeep. The three-speed manual transmission really gives you control of it all. This is truly off-road ready with the two-speed 4x4 transfer case, lifted stance, and General Grabber tires. When you just want to take it through downtown, the power steering is a nice bonus. Plus, this has upgraded bushings that deliver a solid feeling no matter where you roam. This Cj5 has a robust look that look great everywhere. So you know you want to grab the ultimate classic 4x4.
