1963 Jeep CJ Additional Info:
Hot rod is one off. You willnever see another one like it. Car is hand built. Hand built bed and interior. Frame is stretched three feet to accommodate the engine. Hand built doors. Custom front end out of California. International scout top.
Engine is very fast 305 with a turbo 350 transmission and Camaro rear end.
However it keeps the soul of the Jeep: boxed in Jeep frame, Jeep tub, Jeep grille, and Jeep tailgate.
Motor is a cammed 305, with headers, dumps and an exhaust system.
The tires are new 181/2 inch Hoosiers on the rear and 5 inch Micky Thompson’s on the front. The top is vinyl covered and the body is back/ black.
The gauge cluster is white with a tach. It has a tall Lokar shift with lock out reverse.
I currently have the car tagged as a historic vehicle. When the new battery fires this “bad boy “ up, it’s ready eat.
The car weighs 2100 bounds.
